Job summary

JetZero Inc. is seeking a Senior Aircraft Systems Integrator in Long Beach, California to lead the technical integration of aircraft systems across laboratories, ground test environments, and the Demonstrator aircraft.

You will define integration strategies, manage inter-system dependencies, and ensure readiness for test and flight operations while coordinating with safety engineering and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field.
• 10+ years aerospace engineering experience in development, integration, testing or certification.
• Experience across multiple aircraft systems and engineering disciplines.
• Experience defining and executing integrated test or verification strategies.
• Knowledge of aircraft development lifecycle from design through flight test.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional aircraft integration across avionics, flight controls, propulsion, and subsystems.
• Own aircraft-level interfaces, dependencies, conflicts, and issue resolution.
• Develop integrated verification and test strategies across labs, aircraft, and flight test.
• Define verification sequencing, milestones, objectives and readiness for events.
• Coordinate development labs and Demonstrator configurations.
• Plan phased integration and risk-reduction activities before installation.
• Validate environmental conditions, installation effects, system interactions, operational scenarios.
• Coordinate with Safety Engineering on hazards and evidence of readiness.
• Identify risks and lead technical reviews with program leadership.
