Job summary

PSI in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for aircraft subsystems and energy power generation. You will guide system analyses, trade studies, and design integration across lifecycle from concept through fielding and sustainment.

The role requires 8+ years, BSEng, US citizenship, and proficiency with MATLAB/ANSYS/NX/ASPEN. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with management and customers to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Experience integrating Aircraft Systems Architectures or energy power generation systems.
  • Proven experience in requirements engineering (decomposition, allocation, traceability).
  • Proven experience leading system verification and validation plans.
  • Experience in system analysis, trade studies, design integration, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong technical communication for executive briefings.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, ANSYS, NX, ASPEN, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of technical analyses, system trade studies, resolve integration issues, and support testing.
  • Coordinate technical activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Chief Engineering, and customers.
  • Develop and review detailed performance evaluations using engineering analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Ansys, NX, ASPEN, CHEMCAD).
  • Own the end-to-end interface definition and tracking of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Manage system level requirements and ensure flow-down to component groups with status reporting to management.
  • Lead Root-Cause & Risk Management activities in design changes and technical solutions.
  • Prepare and present system results through reports, reviews, and briefings to stakeholders.
  • Perform end-to-end system analyses to validate architectures meet performance specs.
  • Develop, implement and maintain process guidance for program consistency.
  • Document system analyses to verify requirements.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers.
