Insight Global is seeking multiple Aircraft Primary Structures Mechanical Design Engineers to support a large-scale aircraft modification program on a Bombardier Global 6500 platform in the Waco, TX area. This role focuses on designing primary and secondary aircraft structures, integrating large radar systems and mission equipment, using Siemens NX for 3D modeling and released drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or related Engineering.
• 6+ years aircraft structural design experience for fixed-wing aircraft.
• Ability to obtain a clearance.
• Experience designing primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and released drawings.
• Experience producing detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Experience supporting large aircraft modification programs.
• Strong understanding of aircraft loads and load paths.
• Experience designing metallic aircraft structures and supporting manufacturing.
• Cross-functional team coordination in engineering.

Aufgaben

• Design primary and secondary airframe structures for large aircraft modifications.
• Develop and release detail, assembly, and installation drawings in NX.
• Coordinate with Stress Analysis, Systems Engineering, Weight & Balance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Installation teams.
• Own designs from concept through manufacturing and aircraft support.
• Ensure weight, performance, and airworthiness compliance.
