Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Senior Aircraft Painter to safely prepare, paint and detail aircraft on schedule using Gulfstream quality standards. The role supports the Lead and provides direction to fellow painters as needed.

The position requires advanced paint process knowledge, blueprints interpretation, and strong safety discipline; a HS diploma or GED and 4 years of related experience are expected. Third shift in Savannah, GA, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4 years related paint processes.
• Advanced knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics).
• Aircraft industry experience preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, paint and detail aircraft according to schedule and standards.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure FAA paperwork and quality specs are met.
• Assist supervision with work assignment and mentor other painters as needed.
