Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation в Appleton seeks an Aircraft Painter I to prepare aircraft for paint, apply coatings, and ensure quality within safety standards. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of painting experience. Strong reading of blueprints and basic computer literacy are preferred.

Responsibilities include masking, sanding, priming prep, glazing, sealant work, and maintaining equipment. Travel is possible up to 25% and shifts are First.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of painting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Must be computer literate.
• Working knowledge of paints and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application.
• Apply glazing and sealing compounds for final painting prep.
• Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment; mix paints/primers.
• Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail.
• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; protect aircraft interior.
