Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Aircraft Painter to independently prepare, paint and detail aircraft in alignment with company standards and procedures.

The role requires knowledge of paint processes and products, the ability to read blueprints, and experience complying with FAA documentation. Candidates should be able to operate paint equipment and support a safe, efficient shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years related paint processes experience.
• Aircraft industry experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Advanced knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics).

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, paint, and detail aircraft per schedule and quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection for FAA paperwork and sign-offs.
• Mentor other painters and ensure high quality through instruction and example.
• Follow SOPs when using tools and chemicals; maintain shop equipment.
