Epic Aircraft, LLC in Bend, Oregon is seeking an Experienced Paint Detailer to join our team. You will perform detailed finish work on completed aircraft, focusing on color sanding, paint correction, and high-gloss buffing to meet show-quality standards.

The role requires hands-on skills in collision auto or restoration settings, the ability to work around fresh surfaces, and a commitment to safety and quality. Starting pay is DOE hourly with day and afternoon shifts available.

Qualifications

• Experience in color sanding and paint correction.
• Detail finishing on aircraft surfaces.
• Ability to strip/prepare surfaces and protect areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed finishing and paint correction on aircraft.
• Color sand/wet sand to remove imperfections for smooth finish.
• Cut and buff freshly painted surfaces to high gloss.
• Identify and correct paint defects such as runs and dust.
• Operate polishing machines and hand tools safely.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment.
• Complete required documentation per work instructions.
• Work with painters and technicians to meet deadlines.
• Assist with final detailing and aircraft delivery prep.
