Job summary
StaffEagle LLC in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support aircraft manufacturing operations. You will work with production mechanics, engineering, and cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing challenges and improve assembly processes.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, with direct aircraft manufacturing experience, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
- Direct aircraft manufacturing experience required.
- Proficiency with CAD, GD&T, DFM and ERP systems.
- Experience with eBOM/mBOM, routings and manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve aircraft manufacturing and build issues with production teams.
- Improve methods, sequencing, ergonomics and overall production flow.
- Support fabrication, subassembly and final assembly processes.
- Perform CAD, drawing interpretation, GD&T analysis and translate to drawings.
- Develop tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes; pursue Lean improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineering to address production issues and data structures.
