Job summary
MTSI is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance & Quality Assurance Logistician to support defense programs. The role requires a minimum of ten years’ combined experience in aircraft maintenance, logistics, or QA, strong FAR/DoD knowledge, and AS9100 compliance.
The ideal candidate holds an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience, and familiarity with MATLAB or SAP. Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years combined experience in aircraft maintenance, logistics or QA
- Deep knowledge of FAR/DoD acquisition and maintenance regulations
- Proficient in AS9100, DCMA INST 8210.1, and quality assurance standards
- Strong communication across diverse teams and government partners
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; related degree or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DoD and QA requirements across programs
- Manage logistics, acquisitions and maintenance workflows in aerospace environments
- Lead cross-functional teams with suppliers, contractors, and DoD partners
- Implement SPC and risk-management practices to improve program performance
- Support travel as needed to meet mission requirements
