Job summary

StandardAero in Dallas is seeking an Aircraft Engine Mechanic III to maintain, repair, and overhaul engines, modules, and accessories. You will troubleshoot, interpret drawings, and ensure airworthiness while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • FAA A&P license required or equivalent.
  • Experience with aviation engine maintenance and overhaul.
  • Ability to read schematics, graphs and blueprints.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and lift up to 25 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dismantling and assembly of complete engines, modules, components and assemblies using hand or power tools.
  • Troubleshoot to identify problems and adjust/repair products per specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specs and documentation using precision measuring tools; verify conformance to blueprints.
  • Use machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, plant equipment and consumables to complete tasks.
  • Check serviceability, documentation completeness and compatibility to standards.
  • Maintain detailed repair and certification records.
  • Ensure only airworthy equipment is used for timely completion of customer engines, modules, components and assemblies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of cell processes.
  • Observe safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
