Job summary

Aviation Technical Services is seeking a Master Mechanic for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul to ensure airworthiness. The role involves applying technical skills to train and develop mechanics, while assisting Leads with daily operations under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ recent component maintenance, commercial aircraft maintenance, and/or MRO experience preferred.
• Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and orders to determine repair methods.
• Oversees and co-signs for uncertified mechanics as required.
• Repair, modify, or perform routine maintenance.
• Order parts using technical data and ensure material suitability.
• Gathers information to submit to Engineering as needed.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Assist in planning, production, and quality control of projects.
• Estimate labor hour requirements.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Three years’ experience in component maintenance or MRO

Airframe or A&P license preferred
