Senior Air Quality Project Manager - Technical Role - Fully Remote

Talisman Advisory Partners is seeking a Senior Air Quality Project Manager to lead air quality projects for industrial clients. This role involves managing complex environmental projects, supporting business development, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in air permitting and compliance, with a deep understanding of federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage air quality permitting and compliance projects for industrial clients.
  • Prepare proposals and support business development efforts for air quality and environmental consulting services.
  • Advise clients on federal and state air quality regulations, developing compliance strategies.
  • Coordinate with state environmental agencies and the EPA on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and legal counsel to address air quality needs.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes impacting clients’ operations.
  • Represent clients at public meetings and hearings as needed.
  • Conduct emissions calculations and evaluate air emissions control technologies.
  • Participate in environmental compliance audits and ensure quality of technical work.
  • Mentor junior staff for professional and technical growth.
  • Expand business opportunities through industry engagement, conferences, and marketing activities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Air permitting and regulatory experience in power generation and/or cement manufacturing industries.
  • Over 10 years of experience in air quality.
  • Experience in states like Texas, Colorado, California, Louisiana is preferred.
  • Familiarity with air dispersion modeling.

This is a strategic role in helping clients navigate complex environmental regulations while growing within a dynamic advisory firm.
