Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Air Quality Project Manager to join our Texas air quality practice. The role leads complex permitting projects, interfaces with regulatory agencies, mentors staff, and supports business development across Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and surrounding areas.

You will manage proposals, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensure QA/QC, and deliver high-quality environmental solutions while traveling up to 20% to client sites and project offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of air permitting and compliance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience interpreting/state/federal air quality regulations and developing compliance strategies.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Texas experience and driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for air quality permitting and environmental support projects.
• Manage projects and tasks related to complex air quality permitting and compliance services.
• Interface with state agencies and EPA on behalf of clients.
• Mentor technical staff and support business development and client engagement.
