Job summary

Braun Intertec seeks a senior air quality permitting and compliance professional to lead our Environmental Permitting and Compliance practice. You will mentor staff, manage complex projects for industrial, energy, and commercial clients, and strengthen key client relationships.

You will direct technical work on PBR, NSR, and Title V permit applications, interpret air quality rules, perform emission calculations, and develop client compliance programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years Texas air quality permitting and compliance experience; total 10–12 years preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal air quality rules for industrial, energy, and commercial clients.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through project work and in-person engagement.
• Lead project teams, managing execution, client communication, and overall project deliverables.
• Prepare and review proposals for projects of varying complexity.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor and support junior staff.
• Comply with applicable client health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform, direct, and review technical work for air permitting and compliance projects, including PBR, NSR, and Title V permits.
• Interpret and apply state and federal air quality regulations.
• Calculate emissions and evaluate equipment for compliance.
• Conduct air quality impact assessments using SCREEN3 and/or AERSCREEN.
• Develop client air quality compliance programs.
• Prepare technical reports and project documents.
