Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer to develop and execute site-specific air permitting strategies across multiple facilities in Texas. The role requires deep expertise in the Clean Air Act, NSPS/ NESHAP, and state plans, with oversight of complex regulatory compliance programs.

You will lead audits, coordinate contractors, and interact with regulators while collaborating with engineering teams and leadership to ensure successful permitting across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in the design, development, and oversight of EHS disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site-specific air permitting strategies at company sites.
• Assist in planning for changes in facilities or new construction to meet permitting requirements.
• Serve as SME on the Clean Air Act and applicable regulations.
• Track and interpret new federal/state air regulations and provide guidance.
• Conduct internal air compliance audits and support inspections.
• Coordinate and manage contractors for permitting and testing; review reports.
