Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Workflow Engineer to embed with Commercial Finance teams and shape AI-enabled workflows across internal systems and external platforms.

You will work on LLM integration, agent frameworks, and API orchestration, partnering with security and legal to ensure HIPAA compliance, while driving adoption and training across the enterprise. Fully remote with an onsite interview in Chattanooga.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field required.
• 4+ years software engineering experience including automation pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM integration, or agent frameworks.

In this role, you’ll be embedded directly with our finance teams (including underwriting) to help them imagine what’s possible beyond today’s tooling.
