Job summary

Adobe Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to establish standards for a new AI-first web product. You will build fast, reliable test systems for evolving AI workflows and ensure real-time performance, accessibility and cross-browser coverage.

Own end-to-end quality strategy, implement modern web test automation (Playwright/Cypress, TypeScript/JavaScript) and CI/CD test gates. Collaborate with engineering, product and design to embed quality early.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of customer-facing software quality/SDET experience.
• Automation experience with Playwright/Cypress and TS/JS; Python a plus.
• Experience designing test strategy for AI/ML/LLM-powered features.
• Strong API testing, performance/load testing, and observability tooling.
• Excellent collaboration and communication; influence engineers and PMs early in build.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and adapting to evolving tooling.
• Experience with creative tools, browser-based graphics, or real-time collaboration stacks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality strategy for a new AI-first web app.
• Compose, build, and maintain modern web test automation (Playwright/Cypress, TS/JS).
• Stand up evaluation harnesses for automated workflows and safety checks.
• Ensure comprehensive quality for real-time web product: performance, accessibility, cross-browser/devices.
• Embed quality into CI/CD: release gates, reduce flake, leverage telemetry.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to embed testability early.
