Job summary

EY-Parthenon seeks a Software Engineering Director for AI Tooling to design and scale AI-enabled platforms and internal tools. You will partner with executives across business units to deliver scalable, secure systems that unlock enterprise value for Fortune 500 and growth-stage clients.

The role blends engineering excellence with applied AI and strategic impact, requiring collaboration with product leaders and multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid US setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with ~18 months experience.
• Strong proficiency in APIs, distributed systems, and cloud services.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI-enabled applications to production.
• Comfort in fast-paced, client-facing environments and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale core software platforms integrating data, AI services, and user-facing apps.
• Develop AI-powered tools including copilots, decision support systems, and internal dev tools.
• Design robust service architectures (APIs, event-driven, real-time pipelines) for reliability and security.
• Establish engineering best practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, performance.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to productionize models and agents in real-world workflows.
