Job summary

Waabi is building an AI tooling team to design, build, and ship internal tooling, agents, and workflows that accelerate the productivity of every Waabi team. You will work across autonomy code, simulation environments, ML pipelines, and business workflows to deliver impactful tooling.

You will leverage leading AI tools, integrate copilots and agents, and drive adoption through documentation and enablement. A strong Python background and collaboration across engineers, researchers, and partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping tools used by large internal or external user bases.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI coding tools and agents and experience shipping AI-powered products or workflows.
• Strong Python skills and comfort with modern build systems, CI/CD, and developer infra.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work autonomously in fast-moving settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship internal tooling, agents, and workflows tailored to Waabi's needs.
• Integrate and extend third-party AI tools, building integrations and internal extensions.
• Evaluate new AI tools and models, run pilots, and provide technical recommendations.
• Partner with engineers, researchers, and business teams to prototype solutions quickly.
• Build observability around AI tooling, tracking usage, cost, and quality.
• Implement guardrails for responsible AI tooling in collaboration with Security and Legal.
• Drive adoption of tools through documentation and hands-on support.
