Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Senior AI Token Specialist in Columbia, MD to support the U.S. Cyber Command CAIO with expertise in large language models, token economics, and enterprise AI operations.

You will craft strategies, cost models, and technical documentation to optimize AI token usage and guide budgeting, licensing, procurement, and infrastructure decisions. The ideal candidate combines deep AI system knowledge with strong analytical and strategic planning to maximize AI

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in AI/ML systems engineering or related field.
• Experience with LLM operations, token mechanics, and cloud-based AI APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical briefs and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI token usage strategies across mission workloads.
• Analyze LLM architectures, tokenization, context windows, pricing models.
• Build cost models and financial analyses for AI software and cloud services.
• Advise leadership on model selection and prompt engineering methodologies.
• Brief CAIO and senior leaders on findings and risks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Master's degree in Computer Science
