Job summary

TestPros is seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) System Test Engineer to evaluate AI systems against OWASP AI Testing Guide, NIST RMF, and IEEE guidelines. This is a part-time consulting role with start in late 2026/2027, remote work with occasional travel to Sterling, VA labs.

The role focuses on testing AI-enabled software, model robustness, data integrity, security and reliability, with hands-on QE leadership across the SDLC, including test planning, execution, and defect remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Software/System Testing and QE experience, including enterprise-scale programs.
• Strong knowledge of the OWASP AI Testing Guide and NIST RMF.
• 4+ years defining testing strategy for large programs with end-to-end testing.
• Experience with AI/GenAI frameworks and cloud/mobile/web testing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans aligned with OWASP AI Testing Guide and other guidance.
• Create defect records, document steps, severity and evidence.
• Report results to senior management and stakeholders.
