Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a seasoned AI TechLead to guide engineers and clients in building enterprise-grade predictive and generative AI solutions, pipelines, visualizations, and more. You will mentor teams, oversee end-to-end ML workflows, and ensure robust production deployments with ML Ops.

The role requires strong Python proficiency, experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines, plus a passion for data and problem solving to serve federal contracting clients.

Qualifications

• Requires public trust with the US government.
• Bachelor's or master's in CS/AI/ML with 8+ years in a related field.
• 5+ years in software engineering focused on AI/ML development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers on predictive and generative AI solutions.
• Architect scalable AI/ML systems with best practices in software engineering and ethics.
• Drive adoption of AI technologies across the organization with cross-functional collaboration.
• Design end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
• Establish and enforce AI development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
