Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer to shape AI&T for satellite payloads and in-space constellation solutions. You will translate mission architectures into credible, cost‑effective AI&T approaches, including test flow concepts, verification planning, and proposal content.

The role requires hands-on experience on space-qualified buses and components, with the ability to assess integration risk early in programs and to craft winning technical proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in the design, development, and flight of aerospace systems.
• 6+ years of experience in spacecraft or aerospace systems assembly, integration and test.
• Hands-on time on the integration floor or launch site.
• Ability to scale test and verification strategy to program needs across generations.
• Experience defining automated checkout and screening/acceptance sampling strategies.
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals and the full Systems Engineering V.

Responsibilities

• Define integration and test architectures for constellation concepts and throughput modeling.
• Drive design-for-test and design-for-integration in early architecture trades.
• Develop AI&T concepts for rate production, including test automation and streamlined campaigns.
• Define launch-cadence driven constraints on architecture and deployment concepts.
• Author technical content for proposals, white papers, and customer engagements.
• Serve as AI&T technical authority in reviews and risk mitigation planning.
• Partner with program AI&T orgs to ground concepts in demonstrated capability.
