Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer to shape AI&T approaches for satellite payloads and in-space constellation concepts. You will translate mission requirements into credible, cost-effective test strategies, across busy lifecycles from concept to deployment, and contribute to proposals and risk mitigation.

The role requires extensive hands-on aerospace AIS experience, the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 10+ years of related aerospace design, development, and flight experience.

Responsibilities

• Define integration and test architectures for constellation concepts and create test flow and acceptance structures.
• Drive design-for-test and design-for-integration across payload and bus subsystems.
• Develop AI&T concepts for rate production including test automation and first-pass yield modeling.
• Define launch-cadence-driven constraints on architecture and deployment concepts.
• Author technical content for proposals, white papers, and customer engagements.
• Serve as AI&T technical authority in architecture reviews and concept gates.
• Partner with program AI&T organizations to ground concepts in real capability.
