Benchstrength is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead production-grade AI systems for healthcare calls. You will work with the latest LLMs, hand‑on code, and mentorship as the team scales.

You will own end-to-end delivery from live voice to note generation, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance. You will collaborate with leadership to shape architecture, evaluate new models, and push for rapid, safe delivery of clinician-facing features.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and owning production systems.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features to production and handling evals, drift, latency and cost.
• Experience with AI coding tools and agents daily.
• Architecture decisions that hold up under real-world conditions.

Responsabilités

• Build and improve LLM workflows: live transcription, note generation, chat, edge-case handling.
• Develop evaluation/testing infrastructure to prove outputs are accurate and ready for practice.
• Own real-time voice pipelines and integrations with EHRs, telephony, and APIs.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, discussions, and pairing.
