EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to own the stateful backbone of its AI-native platform across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments. You’ll manage relational, vector, and graph stores, streaming pipelines, and durable workflows to ensure reliable, scalable state for agentic workloads.

You will implement multi‑tenant, portable data solutions with strict governance, automation, and IaC to reduce toil and improve reliability across diverse environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years operating production data infrastructure, streaming systems, or database platforms at scale.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL and caching (Redis/Valkey) with HA, replication, backup/recovery.
• Exposure to AI/ML data patterns—embeddings, retrieval, feature/state stores.
• Production experience with vector/graph databases (Qdrant, Milvus, PGVector, Neo4j).
• Deep experience with event streaming and messaging (Kafka/Strimzi, NATS) and change data capture (Debezium).
• Experience with stream processing (Flink) and event/schema governance (CloudEvents, schema registry).
• Experience on Kubernetes with stateful systems (PV, MinIO/OpenEBS).
• Ability to define ownership boundaries and data/schema contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Own the stateful data stores and caches across environments.
• Own event streaming and async messaging pipelines (Kafka, NATS, Debezium).
• Ensure durability, consistency, and recoverability across clusters and environments.
• Build and operate streaming/CDCs with schema governance and evolution.
• Make state multi-tenant and portable with clear isolation and performance boundaries.
• Provide data and lineage substrate for governance and AI knowledge capabilities.
