Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead System Architect to define architecture for conversational, generative, and agentic AI solutions. You will lead platform choices across Google Cloud AI and guide enterprise AI strategy with cross‑functional partners.

In this senior role, you’ll mentor teams, drive governance, and ensure secure, scalable AI deployments aligned with business objectives and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years designing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• 3+ years in systems, solution, or enterprise architecture roles.
• Proven success delivering large‑scale AI solutions end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end‑to‑end architecture for conversational, generative, and agentic AI solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, reference designs, and governance practices.
• Lead technical strategy and platform decisions across Google Cloud AI services.
• Design and validate approaches like RAG, multi‑agent systems, and vector search.
• Architect secure integrations with apps, APIs, data platforms, and business systems.
• Drive operational architecture for CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and MLOps.
• Partner with product, engineering and business stakeholders to align solutions with goals.
• Serve as a technical mentor and elevate architectural maturity across teams.
• Champion responsible AI by embedding governance, privacy, and ethics.
