UnternehmerTUM GmbH’s appliedAI Initiative seeks a senior software engineering leader to own end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise AI and digitalization programs. You’ll architect production-grade AI systems, guide cloud-native architectures, and raise engineering standards across the team, spanning security, observability, and MLOps.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive reusable accelerators, and collaborate with client engagement leads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with principal/lead level roles.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficient in Python and modern AI stack tools (LangChain/LangGraph, vector stores, evaluation frameworks).
• Evidence of end-to-end delivery in enterprise-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver production-grade AI and software solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring security, scalability, and cloud/hybrid deployments.
• Set engineering standards across the team: code quality, reviews, observability, and MLOps.
• Lead technical delivery from target architecture to production handover, coordinating with engagement leads.
