Job summary

EY is seeking a senior, hands-on Distinguished Engineer to lead AI-native system delivery into highly regulated industries. The role blends real-world delivery, architecture enforcement, and platform feedback to move AI systems from concept to production with speed, safety and audit-grade rigor.

As a cross-cell technical leader, you’ll partner with Product Engineering, Product Architecture, and governance authorities while remaining anchored in delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering complex AI enterprise systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and integration-heavy architectures.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI-enabled stacks (agentic systems, orchestration, LLM-backed services).
• Proven ability to operate in forward-deployed or customer-facing roles, owning outcomes under real-world constraints.
• Track record of reusable technical patterns or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-engagement technical authority ensuring delivery aligns with architecture and safety in regulated environments.
• Synthesize learnings across delivery cells into durable reference integrations and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Product Architecture to package client patterns into technical business cases and backlog items.
• Engage in shaping sessions, architecture reviews, and prioritization discussions to improve portability and outcomes.
