Job summary

AbbVie’s Allergan Aesthetics unit seeks an Associate Director of Aesthetics AI Strategy to shape the US AI roadmap, drive prioritized AI pilots, and align with business objectives to maximize patient impact.

You will leverage ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to deliver innovative solutions, while establishing governance and collaborating with R&D, marketing, and IT to scale learning across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in strategy, with experience in directly serving life sciences, CPG/Luxury Beauty or technology companies on AI initiatives.
• Broad understanding of emerging technologies in AI/ML.
• Effective project management and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple management levels and thrive in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• AI Strategy Development: Define the Aesthetics AI strategy and identify AI opportunities to accelerate priorities.
• Support Priority AI Initiatives: Develop and roll out high-priority AI pilots; monitor progress and scale learnings.
• Deep AI Expertise: Apply ML, Generative AI and Agentic AI to contribute to innovative solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Establish governance and cross-functional coordination across business units.
• Support cross-cutting enablers: Technology enablement, responsible AI, and data readiness.
