Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior High-Performance Storage Architect to join our Infrastructure Specialists team in Santa Clara, CA. You will deploy, manage and validate high-performance storage infrastructure in AI Factory Linux-based environments and serve as the domain expert on customer projects.

Bring 8+ years of storage deployment experience, deep knowledge of DS, NFS, S3, NVMeoF, Lustre, GPFS, and RMDA, plus Linux expertise and scripting in Bash, Python or Ansible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience providing in-depth storage deployment, support and validation services.
• Strong understanding of storage concepts including SDS, NFS, S3, NVMeoF, Lustre, GPFS, RMDA (RoCEv2/InfiniBand).
• Familiarity with storage benchmarking tools such as FIO, IO500, IOR, HPL, NCCL tests, and MLPerf storage.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, performance reporting/optimization/logging, and advanced networking/tuning.
• Four-year degree in CS, EE or equivalent experience.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and validate high-performance storage infrastructure within AI Factory Linux-based environments.
• Act as domain expert during customer planning calls through implementation phases.
• Craft and hand over documentation; perform knowledge transfers to support customers.
• Provide feedback to internal teams by opening bugs, documenting workarounds and suggesting improvements.
