Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Principal AI Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions focused on intelligent agents within the AI / Digital CoE. This hands-on role collaborates with business leaders to convert workflows into secure, scalable AI-driven outcomes.

You will blend engineering execution with a consulting mindset, shipping AI solutions that improve speed, cost, quality, or cycle time. Strong build-first approach required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years delivering production software solutions.
• 1+ year hands-on with LLM APIs and agent frameworks.
• Experience in consulting-style roles and executive communication.
• Ability to translate ambiguous workflows into scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong communication between business needs and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Re-imagine enterprise work with an AI-first mindset.
• Translate workflows into agent-friendly steps (reasoning, execution, validation, escalation).
• Partner with leaders to structure problems and quantify impact.
• Build AI agents using Python and modern frameworks for end-to-end tasks.
• Integrate with enterprise systems via APIs and data platforms.
• Deploy production-grade solutions with security and monitoring.
• Implement guardrails and responsible AI practices.
• Work in Agile delivery cycles with IT, data, security, and platform teams.
