Job summary

Toloka AI seeks a Freelance Forward Deployed AI Engineer to partner with CTOs and ML leaders, solving complex data challenges and translating ambitious model goals into scalable data solutions.

You will design data-generation, labeling, and evaluation pipelines powering next-gen AI models, while mentoring engineers and shaping best practices across engagements. This remote role offers flexible hours and access to world-leading clients.

Qualifications

• Executive-level engagements with CTOs and senior tech leaders.
• Deep understanding of modern LLM development, fine-tuning, evaluation.
• Hands-on design of multi-stage AI data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical counterpart to CTOs and VP engineering.
• Lead executive conversations using a structured BLUF approach.
• Design and build data-labeling components and AI-driven solutions.
• Architect end-to-end multi-stage data pipelines for AI training and evaluation.
• Mentor Solution Engineers and Technical Consultants to raise technical standards.
