Job summary

Rite-Hite Company in Milwaukee seeks a seasoned AI-First Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered enterprise applications using LLMs and RAG pipelines. You will build AI agents, integrate with ERP, CRM, and data lakes, and implement robust guardrails for safety and data protection.

You will mentor developers, work with security/compliance teams, and help productionize prototypes with monitoring and optimization across cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• Production-grade application development expertise.
• Hands-on with modern LLM platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Experience building RAG pipelines using vector databases and embeddings.
• Prompt engineering, versioning, and evaluation techniques.
• Strong Python experience for AI development.
• Experience integrating AI services with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, including deployment and security.
• Understanding of data formats such as JSON and XML.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered applications using LLMs for enterprise use cases.
• Develop RAG solutions using enterprise data sources.
• Build and orchestrate AI agents that can reason, plan, and interact with tools and APIs.
• Implement guardrails for prompt safety, data protection, and output validation.
• Work with multimodal AI models for video analysis and optimization.
• Integrate AI solutions with Salesforce, ERP data, data lakes, and internal apps.
• Collaborate with security/compliance teams for responsible AI usage.
• Prototype quickly, then productionize with monitoring and evaluation.
• Mentor developers on AI concepts and best practices.
