Job summary

Avanade is seeking an AI Architect Manager to lead enterprise AI design and end-to-end solution delivery within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will drive opportunity origination, shaping, and deal closure while aligning AI architectures with client business value.

The role requires deep experience in designing scalable AI solutions, hands-on work with Azure AI services, and strong leadership in a matrixed, global environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AI, Data, or consulting roles, including 3+ years in client-facing leadership
• 3+ years leading end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity origination, solution shaping, and deal closure
• 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions with 3–5 full lifecycle implementations
• 4+ years hands-on with the Microsoft AI ecosystem (Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML)
• 2+ years developing or deploying Generative AI/Agentic AI in production
• 5+ years programming in Python for analytics using modern AI libraries (e.g., LangChain, DSPy)
• 4+ years applying data analytics to business problems including data prep, pipelines, and system integration
• 3+ years working with DevOps, MLOps, SDLC, and Agile across multiple projects
• 5+ years in client-facing roles including stakeholder engagements and workshops
• Bachelor's degree in CS or quantitative field or equivalent (12 years experience with no degree or 6 years with Associate)

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution architecture and end-to-end delivery across pre-sales and delivery lifecycle
• Own and drive opportunity origination, qualification, and deal closure with account teams
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures and value propositions
• Conduct client workshops and deliver pre-sales presentations to articulate AI value
• Collaborate with global teams to share accelerators, assets, and best practices
• Provide governance and quality assurance across AI project teams
• Guide estimation, technical design, and proposal development across projects
