Job summary

Fractal Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of production-grade AI systems for census automation.

This role combines agentic AI design, LLM engineering, and scalable automation built with Python and AWS, supported by CI/CD practices. Location is New York, onsite, with a discretionary bonus potential and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production AI solutions.
• Expertise in agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade AI solutions.
• Design and implement agentic AI systems, including tool integrations and multi-step reasoning workflows.
• Develop and optimize solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering and observability.
• Build scalable applications and automation workflows using Python and AWS services.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployment and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
