Compass Group USA's Eurest division seeks a Senior AI Solutions Analyst to deliver rapid, high-quality ad-hoc and exploratory reporting while maintaining dashboards and translating business questions into actionable insights. You will identify repeatable work and collaborate with the BI team to standardize solutions.

The role develops Power BI datasets, semantic models, and optimized SQL; SAP/AI tools and cloud data environments are used to accelerate decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in BI and data development.
• Advanced Power BI with DAX, semantic modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Experience in a consultative role translating business needs into data solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise reporting and financial analytics; food service experience a plus.
• Proficiency with DBT, data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub) and orchestration tools (Airflow).
• Experience with modern analytics platforms and cloud data environments (Microsoft Fabric; Azure SQL; Snowflake).
• Strong communication and ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance analytics and automation.

Job Summary

The Senior AI Solutions Analyst is responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality ad-hoc and exploratory reporting while maintaining and enhancing existing dashboards to support immediate business needs. This role partners closely with stakeholders to respond to urgent reporting requests, translate business questions into actionable insights, and ensure dashboards remain accurate, relevant, and easy to use. The analyst also identifies recurring requests and collaborates with the BI team to transition repeatable work into standardized, scalable reporting solutions. In addition, the role evaluates and applies emerging AI capabilities, automation, and analytics technologies to improve reporting efficiency, accelerate insight delivery, and enhance decision-making across the business.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to support decision-making.
• Identify data quality gaps and implement process improvements.
• Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance existing BI products and automate reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 6 years in BI, data development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, semantic data modeling, and performance optimization, with strong SQL development skills (queries, views, stored procedures).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Experience working in a consultative role with business leaders, clients, and stakeholders, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise reporting and financial analytics solutions; experience in food service or related industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in modern data transformation and modeling tools such as DBT, with solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience using version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub) and familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalents.
• Familiarity with modern analytics platforms and cloud data environments, including Microsoft Fabric; experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or Snowflake is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to deliver data solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Proficient in leveraging modern AI platforms including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar AI tools, to enhance analytics, automation, reporting, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Automations team to design, develop and/or maintain AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, copilots, and workflow automations that support business and client objectives.
