Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Software Engineering to scale AI engineering teams delivering production-grade AI capabilities and platform services. You will partner with Product, Architecture, Security, Data, and other leaders to translate AI strategy into reliable software outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or ML engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams/management.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade software/AI.
• Strong depth in distributed systems and cloud-native services.
• Experience with AI/ML systems lifecycle and MLOps.
• Knowledge of engineering quality, security and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow one or more AI Engineering teams delivering production AI capabilities and platform services.
• Drive execution for strategic AI initiatives across the organization, including customer-facing features and internal platform services.
• Translate roadmap priorities into clear technical plans, milestones, and team outcomes.
• Establish strong engineering management practices across planning, execution, quality, incident response, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineering managers and senior contributors, building a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Define and enforce best practices for AI system development, MLOps, service reliability, security and performance.
• Support architecture decisions for scalable, low-latency AI systems and services.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent across AI, software and platform domains.
• Foster collaboration across globally distributed teams and drive cross-functional delivery.
