Qualifications

• Requires a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years building production AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript and ML libraries (Hugging Face, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar).
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs that serve AI/ML model outputs.
• Solid understanding of RAG pipeline design and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar).
• Experience building custom LLM and agent evals, including automated testing of model outputs and trajectories.
• Awareness of HIPAA requirements and secure handling of health data.

Responsibilities

• System Development: Build and maintain LLM-powered features for clinical settings.
• Model Evaluation: Create evaluation frameworks for AI outputs in production.
• Backend Service Development: Build Python or Typescript services exposing AI capabilities via APIs.
• Infrastructure and MLOps: Contribute to AI infrastructure design and deployment tooling.
• HIPAA-Compliant Development: Ensure compliance and secure data handling across stack.
• Technical Collaboration: Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
