Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Springfield, VA, to design, build, and scale mission-focused applications. You will lead Generative AI workflows, data pipelines, and cloud-native DevSecOps within an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, 8+ years of software engineering experience (or 14+ years in IT without a degree), and a B.S. in a related field. Proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale mission-focused applications.
• Lead integration of Generative AI workflows, data pipelines, and cloud-native DevSecOps architectures.
• Design and deploy Generative AI features (LLMs, RAG, ontology-based applications) and integrate multi-stream data pipelines.
• Lead cloud platform migrations (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes), implement microservices with Docker/Helm, and ensure secure deployment.
