Job summary

Snowflake is hiring for a role on the Cortex Code team, building the future of coding agents for working with data. You will own the full AI engineering lifecycle from design to deployment, working with a small, high-powered team to ship features and improve evaluation pipelines.

You will partner with product and infra to translate customer problems into experiments, focusing on robust context engineering and guardrails for production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• 5+ years shipping AI features in production.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
• (Optional) Experience with data engineering pipelines and data modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end for Cortex Code products, building agentic workflows and evaluation pipelines.
• Build enterprise-grade context engineering: function calling, tool schemas, guardrails, agent teams, and verification/repair.
• Partner with product and infra to translate customer problems into products and experiments.
• Work with an elite team of engineers towards building great products
