Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Artificial Intelligence Security (AISec) team. You will lead the design and execution of a massively scalable security service, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable software for Amazon services.

You will mentor engineers, define best practices, and own the technology stack for critical security systems, while maintaining focus on customer-centric security engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build a massively scalable global security service that is core to all Amazon services.
• Own best practices for the software development lifecycle used by junior engineers, including design, implementation, testing, and operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop secure solutions for customers.
• Own the technology stack for one of the most secure and reliable services at Amazon.
