Job summary

NVIDIA’s Agentic Cybersecurity Research team is seeking an AI Security Researcher to push the frontier of protecting AI models, systems, and infrastructure. You will conduct hands-on research to improve security using AI, and develop innovative defenses against emerging threats.

You will collaborate across product, research, and security teams, publish results in peer‑reviewed venues, and help scale protections enterprise-wide. This Colorado-based role offers equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in CS/CE/Data Science or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in machine learning, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Proven programming expertise.
• Outstanding knowledge of AI and conventional software weaknesses and mitigation strategies.
• In-depth understanding of Generative AI workflows.
• Self-starter with a passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and sharing findings.
• Motivated and curious about new technologies.
• Ability to present sophisticated technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct novel research to improve cybersecurity and AI, focusing on models and agents.
• Contribute research on new problems in AI and security; help build secure systems.
• Develop tools to expose or remediate weaknesses in AI and conventional systems.
• Publish results in peer‑reviewed venues or share with security, ML, and business communities.
