Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Research Scientist in Security and Privacy to advance trustworthy AI systems. You will assess vulnerabilities in AI platforms, design secure hardware/software solutions, and collaborate across research, software, hardware, and product teams.

You will publish work and speak at conferences. The role emphasizes deep expertise in at least one security domain and strong coding skills in C/C++, Python, with a proven research track record.

Qualifications

• PhD in CE/CS/EE (or equivalent) with strong architecture, OS, compilers, cryptography, or AI/ML background.
• At least 4 years of relevant research/work experience.
• Expertise in at least one security area (applied cryptography, languages, software systems, AI/ML, or architecture) with ability to lead within a diverse team.
• Experience with experimental R&D.
• Strong coding skills in C, C++, Python or scripting languages.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze vulnerabilities and risks in future AI and AI-based systems.
• Develop hardware, software, and algorithms for trustworthy AI with strong security and privacy guarantees.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, research, and product teams.
• Publish original research and present at conferences and events.
