Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Security Services and Observability. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and ship production-grade AI-enabled features that impact how customers run their businesses.

You will integrate large language models, retrieval pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration into scalable, observable systems, balancing latency, cost, and security while collaborating across teams and with customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of programming with at least one language.
• 7+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience mentoring, tech lead roles, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience influencing teams and delivering complex systems to customers.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
