Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant security experience.
• Understanding of application integration patterns and API-based access control.
• Proven knowledge of security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, GIAC, OSCP, CEH, Security+).
• Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC).
• Associates degree in cyber security, information assurance, or information technology.

Responsibilities

• Align security monitoring and risk tracking with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and NYS ITS AI policies.
• Protect against model misuse, prompt injection, and data poisoning.
• Integrate AI security tools with SIEM and cloud platforms to detect anomalies.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, IT, and business teams to validate AI security controls.
• Manage security operations tasks related to AI, IAM, and incident response.
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Assess current apps and architectures to ensure alignment with security strategies and standards.
• Perform other duties to support Information Security objectives.
