Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a Security Architect for AI and cloud platforms to safeguard AI ecosystems and enterprise risk posture.

You will drive architecture standards, implement security controls across the AI/ML lifecycle, and partner with engineering to embed secure practices throughout development and deployment. This role advances responsible AI adoption and governance across Moody's.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, or related role.
• Design, secure, or operate cloud-based solutions with at least one major cloud platform.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycles, APIs, and LLM tech.
• Experience with security architecture reviews, threat modelling, risk assessments, or security testing.
• Translate strategic AI objectives and risks into implementable requirements, controls, and recommendations.
• Hands-on scripting, automation, cloud, security, or ML tools with strong communication.
• Demonstrated leadership in AI risk governance and responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Secure AI and model ecosystems by defining architecture, controls, and deployment operations.
• Develop and maintain AI/security architecture standards and roadmap.
• Identify and implement security controls across the AI/ML lifecycle.
• Assess AI/ML/LLM solutions for prompt injection, data leakage, model manipulation, and access control.
• Provide hands-on support for security testing, reviews, threat modelling, and incident investigation.
• Define Cloud-hosted AI service security requirements for pipelines, APIs, and containers.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate security into development and deployment processes.
• Develop monitoring for model behavior, misuse, and emerging threats.
