Job summary

Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk, and our Cybersecurity Engineering team protects AI and cloud ecosystems. We seek a senior technical leader to design and secure AI/machine learning architectures, assess risks, and guide secure deployments across the organization.

You will translate AI risk into concrete controls, conduct threat modelling, support security testing, and collaborate with engineering on secure dev processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, or related role.
• Experience with cloud platforms and configuration-management capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycles, APIs, and LLM tech.
• Experience conducting security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Ability to translate AI risks into implementable requirements and controls.
• Hands-on scripting/automation, cloud, security, or ML tools.
• Proven leadership in AI risk governance and responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Secure AI and model ecosystems by defining architecture, implementing controls, and supporting operations.
• Develop and maintain AI/security architecture, standards, and roadmap.
• Identify controls across AI/ML lifecycle and prompt injection/data leakage risks.
• Provide hands-on support for security testing, reviews, threat modelling, and incident investigation.
• Establish secure configuration for cloud-hosted AI services and containers.
• Partner with engineering to embed security in development and deployment.
• Develop monitoring for model behavior, misuse, data exposure, and threats.
• Contribute to AI governance, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
