Justworks is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in AI to drive and execute our AI security strategy and Digital Security objectives. You will build and enhance security for AI systems, evaluate AI threats, and design guardrails to protect data in a Unix-like environment.

This role requires hands-on security architecture and collaboration with product managers, engineers, and risk teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience in AI security, software development, and cloud security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security concepts and controls.
• 2+ years securing AI systems and AI threat assessment.
• Background as software engineer, security architect, or security engineer in AWS.
• Experience with secure SDLC, threat modeling, vulnerability management.

Responsabilités

• Research AI threat landscape and AI security controls.
• Evaluate AI tools for governance and security posture.
• Improve existing AI security controls and software designs.
• Collaborate with security engineers to deliver security capabilities.
• Provide architectural guidance on AI to product managers and engineers.
• Execute AI roadmap, implement AI security in AWS and corporate environments.
• Develop AI security architecture and standards across apps and infra.
• Participate in AI R&D to embed security controls before production.
• Drive process improvements with the Digital Technology team.
• Be a cross-functional expert for AI security requirements with engineering and risk teams.
• Assist Cyber Defense Operations in AI security incidents in AWS and internal networks.
• Champion AI implementation to enhance security controls and risk management.
