Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to lead secure, scalable AI-native product development. You will collaborate with architects, engineering, and product teams to embed security by design across the lifecycle.

This role focuses on AI security, threat modeling, secure design reviews, and customer-facing assurance, while guiding cross-functional security initiatives and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in product, application, or cloud security engineering.
• Secure SDLC, threat modeling, and secure architecture design.
• Ability to read and review code to inform threat models and design reviews.
• Experience securing AI/ML pipelines and model-serving infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud security across multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with encryption fundamentals (TLS, key management, etc.).
• Understanding auth patterns: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, ABAC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and enforce security controls for AI/ML systems.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific attack vectors (prompt injection, data poisoning).
• Implement model provenance, integrity, and auditability controls.
• Align AI security with governance and compliance teams.
• Embed security throughout the software and AI development lifecycle.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Produce customer-facing security assurance materials.
• Mentor teams on secure coding and risk management.
